Mayday is provided by Space Cadet d.o.o. Contact: hello@mayday.sh. These terms cover the Mayday app and website. Your App Store app licence is governed by Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement. These terms describe the Mayday service and do not replace Apple’s applicable purchase terms or your mandatory consumer rights.
Read our Privacy policy for how personal information is processed. Accepting these terms is not consent to optional AI processing.
What Mayday does
Mayday helps you record hair photos, compare checkpoints, keep track of products and routines, and review educational guides. It is a consumer record-keeping tool, not a medical service.
Mayday does not diagnose hair loss, prescribe treatment, measure treatment effectiveness or promise regrowth. AI readings can be incorrect. Detected outlines require your review, and visual projections are conditional illustrations rather than validated forecasts of your future hairline. No feature guarantees an individual outcome.
Guides and product references provide general information. Inclusion is not a personalised recommendation or a guarantee that a product is suitable, safe or effective for you. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about hair or scalp concerns and treatment decisions.
Your account and content
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate account information. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. Mayday is intended for adults who can enter into these terms.
You retain rights in your photos and other content. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process, transmit and display it to provide the features you request. This is not permission to use your private photos in advertising.
Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not upload someone else’s private health information, use the service unlawfully, bypass access controls or usage limits, or interfere with other users or the service. Keep your own copy of important photos and exports.
Pro, trials and billing
Core app features require an active Mayday Pro subscription after onboarding. Available plans, billing periods, final local prices, taxes and any introductory offer are shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe. The purchase confirmation governs your selected offer.
A one-week free trial is available only when shown to an eligible subscriber. Apple determines eligibility. At the end of the trial, the subscription automatically converts to the displayed paid plan unless cancelled in time. Without a trial, payment is charged at purchase confirmation.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. To avoid a trial charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. If applicable, unused trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
AI features may have usage limits shown in the app. A subscription does not mean unlimited AI requests. Features also require a compatible device and, for account sync and AI, an internet connection.
Cancellation and refunds
Manage or cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mayday, or visit Apple’s subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues for the remaining paid period. Trial access may end immediately when cancelled.
Deleting the app or your Mayday account does not cancel your subscription. Cancelling a subscription does not itself delete your account. Restore purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Apple handles App Store refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refund eligibility is determined under Apple’s applicable terms and law. Nothing here excludes any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund or other consumer right.
Availability and service changes
We aim to keep Mayday available, but maintenance, network issues or provider outages may interrupt features. We may make reasonable changes for security, compatibility or improvements. Where a change materially affects a paid service, we will provide notice and any options required by law.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats or legal requirements, and explain the reason where legally and practically possible. You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time.
Responsibility and consumer rights
Use Mayday’s records and illustrations with an understanding of their limitations. We do not guarantee that AI output is accurate, that every interruption can be avoided, or that a product or routine will produce a particular result.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other mandatory obligations. Your statutory rights concerning digital services remain intact.
Law, complaints and updates
These terms are governed by Croatian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or court rights available under the law of their country of residence. No term requires a consumer to waive a legally available local remedy.
Send questions or written complaints to hello@mayday.sh. Include enough information for us to identify the issue, without sending passwords or verification codes.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or law. We will give notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have.
